ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Kayleen Mary Povolo, 50, of W5577 W. 3rd St., Hermansville, was bound over on one count operating while intoxicated – third offense notice – felony, a one to five-year felony and a maximum fine of $5,000 or probation with 30 days to one year in jail, 60 to 180 days community service, rehabilitative program and mandatory vehicle immobilization of not less than one year or more than three years.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 15, 2019 in Escanaba. Povolo posted a $300 cash bond.

Sirecce Lavance Bonner, 45, of 3254 M-35, Negaunee, was bound over on the following counts: one count controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams – second or subsequent offense notice, an eight-year felony with a maximum fine of $50,000; and two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 11, 2019 in Ford River Township.

The bond was set at $75,000 cash/surety.

Elizabeth Marie Medwayosh, 30, of 10514 North Main, Rapid River, was bound over on one count controlled substance – possession/analogues, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Jan. 2, 2019 in Escanaba. Medwayosh posed a $250 cash bond.

Jessica Leah Shumate, 43, of 600 Altima St. 200, Rapid River, was bound over on two counts of jails – prisoner possessing contraband, a five-year felony and maximum fine of $1,000.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on May 13, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Michael Alan-Tyre Marsh, 23, of 5230 18th Road, Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: one count controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $15,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison; and one count controlled substance – possession (substance added to schedules five by rule), a one-year misdemeanor and a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 13, 2019 in Escanaba Township.

The bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Allen Lee Kirkpatrick, 34, of 1413 Delta Ave., Gladstone, was bound over one one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 17, 2019 in Gladstone. Kirkpatrick posted 10 percent of a $7,500 bond.
