ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Caleb James Bourdeau, 21, of 525 N. 19th St., Escanaba, was bound over on one count of weapons – carrying concealed, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,500 and a mandatory forfeiture of the three-bladed throwing star style knife. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 9, 2019 in Escanaba. The bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Dawn Marie Johnson, 37, of 1016 Allouez Road, Marquette, was bound over on one count of controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on July 4, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety.

Jeffrey Jay Willette, 44, unknown address, was bound over on one count of sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act – second offense notice, a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred on June 6, 2019 in Delta County. The bond was set at 10 percent of $5,000.
