ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Richard Edward Sagataw, 42, of N15418 Hannahville B-1 Road, Wilson, pleaded guilty to one count malicious destruction of fire or police property. He was sentenced to nine months jail and credited 172 days already served. Sagataw was ordered to pay $168.27 in restitution and $758 in fines and costs.

David Wayne Thompson, 26, of 55 East Riling St., Lot No. 41, Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count attempted controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail and credited 133 days already served. Thompson’s driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days. He will be placed on probation for 24 months. Thompson was ordered to pay $1,148 in fines and costs.

Krystal Mary White, 33, of Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility, Ypsilanti, pleaded guilty to habitual offender – fourth offense notice to the underlying offense of jails – prisoner possessing contraband. She was sentenced to a minimum of two years and 10 months to a maximum of 15 years in prison. She was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Hailee Sue Vanderlinden-Malchow, 28, of 10563 N.5 Road, Brampton, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – meth. She was sentenced to a minimum of five years to a maximum of 20 years in prison, and was credited 47 days already served. She was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Oliver DeWayne Burns III, 42, of 4968 Karen 17.25 Road, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to two counts of sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act. He was sentenced to four months in jail and credited for 39 days already served. He was ordered to pay $766 in fines and costs.
