OSF Healthcare Foundation golf outing planned

ESCANABA — The 25th annual OSF HealthCare Foundation “Going for the Green” golf outing will be held Thursday, June 27, at Sweetgrass Golf Course. Money raised during the event will be used to provide needed services and equipment for patients at OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group.

The four-person scramble will begin with an 11 a.m. shot-gun start. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

There is a per person fee, which includes green fees, cart rental, continental breakfast, lunch on the course, beverages, awards, prizes and dinner. Participation in the sell-out event is limited to ensure a great time is had by all. To register, contact Jean Arvan at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 786-5707, ext. 5516 or Jean.Arvan@osfhealthcare.org or register online at osfhealthcarefoundation.org/escanabagolf.

The Upper Peninsula’s only Catholic Hospital, OSF St. Francis Hospital provides approximately $4 million in charity care annually to patients who do not have the means to pay for some or all of the care they receive. The Going for the Green golf outing is one of two major fundraisers for the hospital, along with the Heart of Gold dinner, slated for Oct. 17.
