ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Andrew Carl Lafave, 31, of 818 Dakota Ave., Gladstone, was bound over on the following counts: controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine), a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison; and jails – furnishing contraband to prisoners, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $1,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred April 30, 2019 in Escanaba. The bond was set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Kelly Marie Piquette, 57, of 532 N. 20th St., Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: operating while intoxicated – third offense notice, one- to five-year felony or probation with 30 days to one year in jail with a maximum fine of $5,000, 60 to 180 days community service, rehabilitation programs and mandatory vehicle immobilization of not less than one year or more than three years; and controlled substance – possession/analogues, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on May 5, 2019 in Escanaba. Piquette was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

Brian Quenton Lowe, 26, of 1410 Montana Ave., Gladstone, was bound over on one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy, and cocaine), a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 and licenses sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred through April 25, 2018 to April 25, 2019 in Delta County. Lowe posted 10 percent surety of $30,000.
