President and CEO of UPCAP, Jonathan Mead, presents a check to Escanaba Mayor Marc Tall, Wednesday afternoon at city hall. UPCAP and the Upper Peninsula Association of County Commissioners gave $10,000 to the city for future legal costs in the city’s legal action on the “dark store” issue. The next court date is scheduled in May of this year. “We are very grateful to receive the donation from UPCAP and the County Commissioners,” said Tall. “We are also grateful for all allies we have. The fight continues.”
