ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

John Lee Tardiff, 59, of 9235 Bay Shore Dr., Gladstone, was bound over on one count of operating while intoxicated – third offense notice, a one to five year felony or probation with 30 days to one year in jail with 60 to 180 days of community service, a maximum of $5,000 fine, and a mandatory vehicle immobilization of not less than one year or more than three years. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Feb. 5, 2019 in Gladstone. Tardiff was released with a $500 personal recognizance bond.

Justin John Gerdeen, 31, of 950 N. 15th St., Gladstone, was bound over on the following three counts: operating while intoxicated – third offense notice, a one to five year felony or probation with 30 days to one year in jail with 60 to 180 days of community service, a maximum of $5,000 fine, and a mandatory vehicle immobilization of not less than one year or more than three years; and two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, each a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Feb. 7, 2019 in Escanaba. Gerdeen posted his 10 percent of $5,000 bond.
