ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Klaye Reuben Olson, 23, of 611 Talon St., Gwinn, was bound over on one count of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing causing injury, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000. The charge stems from an incident on or about Sept. 16, 2018 in Escanaba. Olson posted a $7,500 surety bond.

Steven Blaine Clausen, 66, of 11540 T.65 Rd., Rapid River, was bound over on one count of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on or about Nov. 4, 2018 in Delta County. Clausen posted a bond set at 10 percent of $25,000.
