Open house for Stone Moss Project

RAPID RIVER — The public and Hiawatha National Forest partners are invited to a public open house hosted by the Hiawatha National Forest on July 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. to discuss the Stone Moss Project located east and southeast of Rapid River.

The project is proposed to address resource needs and opportunities identified by the Forest Service, the public, and partners. These needs and opportunities will assist Forest Service staff to develop a proposed action for the project area. . Forest Service staff will be present to collect ideas, discuss opportunities, and answer questions.
