ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Renee Lynn Frappier, 45, of 324 S. 17th St., Escanaba, was bound over on one count of embezzlement – agent or trustee, $200 or more but less than $1,000 with a second or subsequent offense notice, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 or three times the amount embezzled (whichever is greater). The charges stem from incidents from May 24 to June 3, 2018. Frappier posted a $1,000 cash bond.

Jordan Patrick Carignan, 17, of 4662 Meadow 24th Lane, Cornell, was bound over on one count of motor vehicle – unlawful driving away, a five-year felony with a suspended license; and one count of operating – license suspended, revoked, or denied, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500 and an immobilized vehicle. The charges stem from an incident on April 22, 2018. Carignan posted a $300 cash bond.

Jack Robert Lopresto, 37, P.O. Box 162, Rock, was bound over on one count of motor vehicle – unlawful driving away, a five-year felony with a suspended license; one count of police officer – fleeing – fourth degree – penal code, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and a suspended license; and one count of driving – reckless, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500. The charges stem from an incident on June 25, 2018 in Escanaba Township. Cash or surety bond was set at $10,000.

Angela Mae Stepnowski, 23, of 801 1st Ave. S., No. 4, Escanaba, was bound over on one count of domestic violence with a third offense notice, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000; and one count of interfering with electronic communications, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $1,000. The charges stem from an incident on June 25, 2018 in Escanaba. Cash or surety bond was set at $8,500.
