OSF Foundation golf outing planned

ESCANABA — The 24th annual OSF HealthCare Foundation “Going for the Green” golf outing will be held Thursday, June 28, at Sweetgrass Golf Course. Money raised during the event will be used to provide needed services and equipment for patients at OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group.

The four-person scramble will begin with an 11 a.m. shot-gun start. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. There is a fee to enter, which includes green fees, cart rental, lunch on the course, beverages, awards, prizes and dinner. There are limited spots available for sponsorship and participation. Contact Jean Arvan at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 786-5707, ext. 5516 or Jean.Arvan@osfhealthcare.org for more information.

The Upper Peninsula’s only Catholic Hospital, OSF St. Francis Hospital provides over $4 million in charity care annually to patients who do not have the means to pay for some or all of the care they receive. “Going for the Green” golf outing is one of two major fundraisers for the Hospital, along with the “Heart of Gold” dinner, slated for October 18, 2018.
