Masonic lodge supports rodeo

The Delta Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons recently made a donation to the Great lakes Rodeo. Shown above are 2017 Great Lakes Rodeo Queen Caitlyn Havelka, Worshipful Master of Delta Lodge 195 of Free and Accepted Masons Christopher Germain, and 2017 Great Lakes Rodeo Princess Rebecca Havelka.

ESCANABA — Delta Lodge 195 of Free and Accepted Masons made its sixth consecutive donation of $500 to the Great Lakes Rodeo.

“The Great Lakes Rodeo is something that we are pleased to support,” Worshipful Master Christopher Germain said. “They started in 2006 and they give all of their proceeds right back into the community. It is exactly the kind of cause we like to support.”

Delta Lodge’s donations to the community are made possible through their charitable fund, which was established in 2011. The Lodge fundraisers throughout the year, and partners with the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation, to ensure they can continue their legacy of giving.
