ESCANABA — The East Ludington Gallery lecture series will be held the tird Thursday of every month from 7 to 8 p.m. at 1007 Ludington St.

Lectures are open to the public and free of charge.

Scheduled events are:

– June 21 – Rose Peltier, Quilting, not just for beds. Advancements, Resources, Opportunities, Quilt Guilds, Demo and Trunk Show

– July 19 – Tracy Anderson, ScratchBoard. Using various tools with white clayboard that has been painted black to create art with exceptional detail and realism.

– Aug. 16 – Steve Messimer, Working with Copper. Characteristics, tools, etc.

– Sept. 20 – Beth Cox, How Glass paper weights are made

– Oct. 18 – Teresa Ross – Fabric Collages

– Nov. 15 – Monica Mortel – Alcohol Ink on tile

– Dec. 20 – Michael Hall – Photograpy
