ESCANABA — Each year, Bay College selects an outstanding graduate from each of the six divisions at the college. The graduate is selected by their instructors for their academic excellence, leadership and community service.

Ashley Edwardsen was selected as the 2018 Outstanding Graduate for the Math Science Division, with the award being sponsored by Engineered Machined Products.

“Ashley is a joy to have in the classroom. She is a natural leader with a passion for learning. In addition, she is a great Supplemental Instruction Leader and Tutor, sharing her chemistry knowledge with other Bay College students,” said Bay College chemistry instructor Hillary Beeckman.

This month, Ashley will graduate from Bay College with an associate in science degree in pre-professional health. She plans to transfer to Ferris State University to major in pre-pharmacy with a goal of becoming a pharmacist.
