Woman arrested on drug charges
ESCANABA — An Escanaba woman was arrested on three felony drug counts, which were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court.
Gale Elaine Parisian, 46, of 2414 S. 8th Ave., Apt. 123, Escanaba, was arrested in August in connection with incidents that occurred from March 23 to April 5, 2017 in Escanaba, according to the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, the arresting agency.
Parisian is charged with one count of delivery/manufacture of cocaine, a 20-year felony carrying a maximum fine of $25,000, and also charged with two counts of delivery/manufacture of Buprenorphine, each a seven-year felony carrying a maximum fine of $10,000.
Parisian posted $3,500, or 10 percent of a $35,000 surety bond, and was released from police custody.
