Farmers invited to coffee talk events

MANISTIQUE — Local farmers are invited to come enjoy a coffee and discuss local issues with other farmers and Michigan State University Extension staff.

The topic for this meeting is weather variability and soil resilience. Project GREEN has funded this initiative.

Discussions will be held at:

– Nov. 6 – 9 a.m., Big Boy 607 E Lake Shore Dr, Manistique

– Nov. 7 – 7 a.m. Central, Farm House W107 South Dr, Stephenson

– Nov. 7 – 9 a.m. Central, Redwood Junction Restaurant US-2, Powers

– Nov. 8 – 9 a.m., Jack’s 7897 S Main St, Rapid River

– Nov. 9 – 9 a.m., B’s Country Cafe & Catering 629 S Stephenson Ave, Iron Mountain

– Nov 10 – 9 a.m., Snack Bar N5484 Eben Trenary Rd, Chatham
