It’s summertime and the living is easy

ESCANABA — Here, in no particular order, are a handful of reasons why we think Delta County is a great place to live, work and visit during the summer.

Fantastic Fishing: Delta County’s pristine and well-preserved Bays de Noc provide some of the best fishing in the country, especially in the summertime months. Accessing our abundant waters is as easy as stepping on a fishing pier or pulling up to one of the several boat launches scattered throughout the county.

Perfect Weather: The mild climate in Delta County is hard to compete with. Where else can you experience a perfect “sunny and 75” day then put on a sweatshirt to sit around the fire as the evening cools off?
