ESCANABA — Racheal Paslawski, of First Bank in Escanaba, has completed specialized training, certifying her as a certified IRA Specialist Class I with plans to soon pursue Class II certification.

First Bank Investment Management Group manager Ben Zyburt said he is pleased to have Paslawski’s expertise in an increasingly complex area of retirement planning.

Paslawski has been with First Bank since 2007 and has been working in trust and investments for 11 years. She is currently an operations associate and is looking forward to advancing her career within this department.

Paslawski has several years’ experience in brokerage and holds her insurance license to sell/ service fixed annuity products. “She is an asset to the Investment Management Group and is eager to assist customers with IRAs,” Zyburt said.

Originally from the Detroit area, she has resided in Escanaba for the last 15 years with her two teenagers.
