ESCANABA — Courtney Jensen became the bride of Jacob Bowden during a 1 p.m. ceremony performed by Pastor Chris Johnson at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Escanaba on Oct. 22.

Courtney’s parents are Rob and Tammy Jensen of Escanaba, and Jacob’s parents are Tom and Dawn Bowden of Escanaba.

Jacob graduated from Escanaba High School in 2007. He is employed by the Canadian National Railroad.

Courtney graduated from Escanaba High School in 2008, and Northern Michigan University in 2013. She is employed at the Delta County Credit Union.

Courtney chose for her attendants maid of honor’s, Stacy and Mackenzie Jensen, sisters of the bride; and bridesmaids,Kayleigh Winling and Morgan Blake, cousins of the bride, and Jessica Ethier and Sheryl Knight, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Skylar Moore, niece of the bride.

Jacob chose best men, Mike Bowden, brother of the groom and Mike Kidd, friend of the groom; and groomsmen, Kyle Tryan, John Waldsmith, and Nick Brayak, all friends of the groom, and Nick DuPont, cousin of the groom. Chase Bowden, son of the bride and groom, served as ring bearer; ushers were Austin Berg, Troy Bowden, Brad Holmes, and Rick DuPont.

Following the ceremony, the couple and their families welcomed and entertained guests at a reception at the Bark River Senior Center.

The couple is at home in Escanaba.
