BARK RIVER — Amanda Englund became the bride of Ethan Marenger during a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by Pastor Brad Cochrane at Bark River Bible Church on Oct. 15.

Amanda’s parents are Robert and Brenda Day of Escanaba, and Ethan’s parents are Glenn Marenger of Cornell, and Teresa Kuehl of Gladstone.

Ethan graduated from Gladstone High School in 2009, and Bay de Noc Community College in 2016, with a associate in applied science degree in automotive. He is employed by Tractor Supply Co.

Amanda graduated from Escanaba High School in 2011. She is employed by Escanaba Head Start.

Amanda chose for her attendants matron of honor, Brittany Knauf , cousin of the bride; and bridesmaids, Ahna Johnson, best friend of the bride, Amanda Marenger, sister of the groom, and Kimberly Englund, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Kenzie Krutina, family friend of the bride.

Ethan chose best man, Kyle Marenger, brother of the groom; and groomsmen, Sam Coyne, Steve Strom, Tyler Kwarciany, all cousins of the groom. Hayven Sandoval, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer; ushers were Jeremy and Justin Carlson, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the couple and their families welcomed and entertained guests at a reception at the Bark River Senior Center.

After a trip to Mackinac Island, the couple is at home in Bark River. A delayed honeymoon will take place to Florida at a later date.
