Gardner – Schlenvogt

ESCANABA – Katrina Mary Gardner, daughter of Chick and Kathy Gardner of Escanaba, and Dylan Scott Schlenvogt, son of Scott and Kim Schlenvogt, also of Escanaba, were united in marriage on June 11 by Rev. Eric Olson at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Catholic Parish.

Friends of the couple, Haley Willman and Andy Gerstner were maid of honor and best man. Bridesmaids were Alexandra Schlenvogt, sister of the groom, and Josie Gardner, niece of the bride, with Madie Gardner, niece of the bride, as junior bridesmaid. Groomsmen were Matthew Gardner, brother of the bride, and Andrew Simon, friend of the groom. Grayson Cummings, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2016 graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in elementary education. She is employed as a middle school teacher by Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy through Manistee Public Schools.

The groom is a 2010 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2014 graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is employed as a product design engineer by Ottawa Door Lights (ODL).

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and are now making their home in Holland, Mich.
