Tuyls – Cummings

GLADSTONE – Brittany Sue Tuyls became the bride of Mathew Paul Cummings during a 3 p.m. ceremony performed in front of their family and friends by Pastor Dennis Cummings at the Escanaba Free Lutheran Church.

A reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the Ruth Butler Building in Escanaba.

Brooke Tuyls, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Angela Tuyls, sister of the bride, Nicole Ante and Amy LaFave, sisters of the groom, Paige Fay, cousin of the bride, and Heather McKinney and Jena Dittrich, both friends of the bride.

Standing as best man was Jason Cummings, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Mikey Baker, cousin of the groom, Quintin Cummings, son of the groom, Jeff Snouwaert, Bill Peterson, Rick DeGrave, and Dan Caron, all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Cortavia Weatheroy, friend of the couple, and Al Plouff, cousin of the bride.

Grayson Cummings and Talon Cummings served as ring bearers, and Alivia Hoffman served as flower girl.

Brittany is the daughter of Brenda and Dave Tuyls of Gladstone. She is currently employed at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

Mathew is the son of Jan and Kevin Cummings. He is currently employed at Neumeier Logging.

The couple is living at their home in Gladstone.
