WHEATON, Ill. – Lauren Elizabeth Lavorato and Joseph Ryan Barron were married July 4, at Cantigny Gardens in Wheaton, Ill., in a ceremony officiated by Jason Guindon.

Lauren is the daughter of John and Mary Kaye Lavorato of Des Plaines, Ill. Joe is the son of Lynne and Vern Horwitz of Bark River, Mark Barron of Escanaba and Jane Schelberg of West Bloomfield, Mich.

Kristin Bernatz, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Krupa Tantuwaya, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. Best man was Jimmy Kirby and groomsmen were Mark Johnson, Jeff Bazzi, Blake Kolo and Justin Thompson, all friends of the groom. Kenny Bernatz and Douglas Crook stood as ushers.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, Ill., and holds bachelor’s of finance and accounting degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northwestern University. She currently works as Director Risk Issues Manager at BMO Harris Bank in Chicago.

The groom is a 2001 Escanaba High School graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He currently works in Corporate Strategy for CTS Corp.

The couple has settled happily together in Glen Ellyn, Ill.
