ESCANABA — Kanopy, an on-demand streaming video service for public libraries and universities, is now available to patrons of the Escanaba Public Library. Kanopy provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies and documentaries. Kanopy Kids is a curated collection of TV series, language learning videos, and classic movies, all with unlimited plays.

Patrons can stream Kanopy and Kanopy Kids on any of their favorite devices. They are accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android, as well as on their desktop or laptop computers, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV and Fire Stick.

To set up a Kanopy account, patrons can visit the library website at www.escanabalibrary.org and click on the “Video Streaming” icon. They will be prompted enter their library card barcode, PIN, name, and email. Once created, the account allows patrons to access over 30,000 films.
