Holy Name Class of 1964 Ladies Luncheon

ESCANABA — The Holy Name Class of 1964 Ladies Luncheon has been canceled for 2020. Next year’s luncheon has been scheduled for Aug. 18, 2021.

North Central High School reunion canceled

POWERS — The reunion for Powers, Spalding, and Hermansville North Central classmates, who attended between 1970 and 1980, scheduled for Aug. 7 at the Island Resort and Casino has been canceled.

Rapid River Legion meals canceled

RAPID RIVER — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and taking into consideration the health issues and average age of its members and clientele as a whole, the active and voting members of Walter W. Cole Post 301 in Rapid River have decided to forgo its normal fundraisers — breakfasts and turkey dinner — until 2021.

Dance set for July 19

K.I. SAWYER — There will be a dance on July 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum. Music will be performed by the HartBeats. There is a fee for the dance. All are welcome.

Women’s AA meetings change location

ESCANABA — The Women’s Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting held previously at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Escanaba is now being held in the First United Methodist Church, located at 302 S. 6th St., Escanaba. Women’s AA open meetings will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. Use the back entrance.

Delta County MARSP meeting statuses

ESCANABA — The August and October meetings of the Delta County MARSP chapter have been canceled. The September meeting is pending.
