Gladstone student loans available at zero interest

GLADSTONE — Each year, the Gladstone Scholarship and Student Loan Foundation provides $2000 loans to GHS graduates to pursue post-secondary training or degrees. Students may take up to four loans during their academic careers.

Applications are available at the Gladstone Area Schools Superintendent’s Office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the interest-free student loans. Salvation Army social services offered

ESCANABA — Social service assistance from the Salvation Army is available 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Community Services Building.
