ESCANABA — Escanaba High School students developed a reading club to commune and share their love of literature. The students and advisor meet Saturday mornings at the Escanaba Public Library to discuss the most recent book selection.

This is the third year for the book club. The club was started by High School English teacher Tammy Wiles, who thought only a few students would participate. To her surprise, many students were interested and the program has grown with each year.

This year, the book club had custom “uniform” shirts made. The shirts were purchased for the students by the Bonifas-Ness Meemic Agency.
