Free fall prevention series starts March 10

GLADSTONE — Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. “A Matter of Balance for Fall Prevention,” hosted by Michigan State University Extension, is a free program teaching practical ways to manage falls.

Anyone who is concerned about falling, has fallen in the past, who has restricted activities because of falling concern or is interested in increasing balance flexibility and strength is welcome to attend.

The-eight week program starts Tuesday, March 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Gladstone Senior Center, 303 N 8th St., Gladstone.

The program is free to attend, but registration is required. Call Carlee at 906-315-2664 to register.
