Children enjoy summer reading program

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Library kicked off the summer reading program with a story hour on Wednesday, June 19.

“A Universe of Stories” is the theme of this year’s program. Forty-eight children enjoyed story time, music by Julie Aschbacher, crafts and snacks. This program continues through the summer and will end at the closing party on Aug. 7. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Gladstone Library and local businesses.
