Silver Linings and Key Club raise money to tackle cancer

ESCANABA — Recently, the Escanaba High School Silver Linings and Key Club teamed up to raise money for the Delta County Cancer Alliance. Their initial goal was $1,000, but with the generous support of the community, they were able to raise over $4,000 for the organization.

Raffle prizes were provided by Classic Auto Collision, Thomas Theatre Group, Hudson’s Classic Grill, Positively, Mueller’s Pizza, Carne’s BP, and Hereford and Hops. Other donations that helped with the event were from Northern Screen Printing, the Kiwanis, Eddie’s Tattoos, Kruisin Klassics Car Club, Delta Title and Abstract, Upper Peninsula State Bank, and Reflections Salon.
