ESCANABA — On Wednesday, June 6, the Escanaba Friends of the Library kicked off the Summer Reading Program with an ice cream social, band concert, and book sale. The Friends were also celebrating their 30th year as an organization dedicated to supporting the Escanaba Public Library and its patrons.
