Class of 1953 reunion planned for Aug. 6

ESCANABA — The graduates of 1953 from Escanaba and St. Joseph High Schools are planning an informal gathering on the afternoon of Monday, Aug. 6.

Some classmates are committed to having a noon lunch at Hereford and Hops. If you wish to join in with that group, you should call Carol Mosher at 474-9962. You will be eating from the Herford and Hops menu. However, a number will be helping them set up tables for the gathering, including men and women from both schools.

Part two of that day will be a gathering at the Escanaba Elks Lodge at about 2 p.m. It will involve snacks, refreshments and camaraderie. All class members and spouses of ’53 graduates are welcome to gather and reminisce. It’s informal, so come and stay as long as you want.

If some classmates wish to participate in golf earlier in the day, you will have to get that arranged among yourselves.

There will not be a mailing about these plans. We hope you will email and/or phone this information to your fellow classmates.
