ESCANABA — The Brother Felix Council 6667 of the Knights of Columbus recently made a donation to Pregnancy Services of Delta County.

Pregnancy Services of Delta County serves the community as a local crisis pregnancy and parenting resource center. The center’s free and confidential services include: pregnancy testing, pregnancy options peer counseling, Man-2-Man mentoring classes dealing with fatherhood led by male mentors, post-abortion support, sexual integrity and relationship education, and a 24-hour pregnancy helpline.

The center also offers the educational “Earn While You Learn” parenting program. Clients earn Baby Bucks for completing classes on parenting, life-skills, and health and wellness. Items are ‘purchased’ with Baby Bucks from the Family Resource Room, which includes baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, cribs, maternity and children’s clothing up to size 3T. Baby food and formula is also available as donated.

The center is located at 1801 Ludington Street in Escanaba. Please call (906) 786-7474 (business line serves as helpline after hours) for more information, visit their website at www.pregnancyservicesdc.org, or find them on Facebook.
