Local students make Alma College Dean’s List

ALMA, Mich. — Alma College has released the Dean’s List for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2017 Fall Term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean’s List.

Those students include:

Class of 2021 student Jennifer Brandt of Escanaba, class of 2021 student Jenna Steinhoff of Gladstone, and class of 2019 student Linnea Peterson of Manistique.

Alma College, founded in 1886, is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in the heart of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. A deep regard for students as individuals is fundamental to an Alma education, with small classes and many opportunities for one-on-one collaboration with dedicated faculty.

Alma’s academic programs encourage students to put the ideas and theories they discuss in the classroom to work in real-world settings through internships, research, campus leadership, study abroad and service to others.
