holds meeting
ESCANABA — The Delta County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at USW Union Hall, 1201 Sheridan Rd., Escanaba. Social is at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
Comedy Club for kids
on Wednesday
GLADSTONE — All area middle schoolers, age 12-14, are welcome to join Comedy Club. The group will meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at Gladstone City Hall from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Members will perform skits, improv, and stand-up comedy. Costumes and props are provided. DAV holds meeting
ESCANABA — The next scheduled meeting for the DAV Chapter 24 will be held on tonight, at 7 p.m. at the Military Order of the Purple Heart building, 1202 Sheridan Road, Escanaba. All disabled veterans are welcome. Call Commander William Porath at (906)280-0455 with any questions.
Relic Riders meet
RAPID RIVER — The Rapid River Relic Riders will meet on Wednesday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Swallow Inn to take care of any unfinished business from the show and swap that was held in Rapid River on Jan. 28.

Hermansville office hours
HERMANSVILLE — Mike Dellisse, Menominee County Veterans Service Officer, has office hours on Wednesday, April 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Floriano-Stecker-Kelly American Legion Hall in Hermansville.
Veterans or widows who need assistance with the Veterans Administration, claims with the Veterans Administration, Agent Orange, headstones, grave-markers, or information on the Oscar Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain should see Dellisee.
Dellisee can help with questions on the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund for Menominee County.

Escanaba class of ’77
reunion scheduled
ESCANABA — The Escanaba class of 1977 will hold their 40th class reunion Saturday, July 8, at the Terrace Bluff Golf Club. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. Cost is $25 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres and pulled pork with a cash bar. There will be a 9-hole golf event starting at 1 p.m., with a scramble format. Cost is $26 each person and includes a cart. Payments can be made at pro shop upon arrival that day.

Emergency preparedness
drill on April 20
ESCANABA — Troop 411 Scouts can participate in a Delta County Emergency Preparedness Drill to be held on Thursday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bay College in room 952 of the Heirman University Center.
