MARINETTE – Jim and Kathy Smith, along with Rhonda Bovin Clairmont, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Kayla Mariah Smith to Brian Allen Clairmont Jr., both of Marinette, Wis.

Kayla is a 2007 graduate of Marinette High School, a 2008 graduate of Martins College of Cosmetology and a 2013 graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with a marketing degree. Kayla is employed with Ibeauthentic in Menominee.

Brian is a 2009 graduate of Marinette High School, and he is employed at Waupaca Foundry in Marinette.

The couple is planning an August wedding in Green Bay.
