ESCANABA – Nick Robitaille of Rock and Cheri Mathieson of Escanaba are pleased to announce their engagement, along with their parents.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2012 graduate of Northern Michigan University. She is an elementary school teacher at Bark River- Harris Schools.

The future groom is a 2007 graduate of Mid Peninsula School. He is employed with Ashley Furniture HomeStore of Escanaba.

The couple has planned a wedding for Aug. 6 in Escanaba.
