ROCK – Al and Pam Grefsheim of Jackson, Wis., announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Grefsheim, to Ryan Barron, son of Linda and the late Timothy Barron of Rock.

The future bride and groom-to-be are both graduates of Northern Michigan University. They share a love for the Upper Peninsula, their dog, Paisley, and spending time on the lake fishing.

Taylor works at Michigan Works! with UPward Talent Council in Escanaba, as their talent acquisition director for the Central Upper Peninsula and currently is pursing her master’s degree in public administration at NMU.

The future groom is employed at Big Bay De Noc Schools as an eighth-grade teacher, eighth-grade basketball coach, and varsity golf coach.

An Aug. 20 wedding is planned.
