BARK RIVER- Dan and Laurie Deming of Bark River, along with Scott Knauf of Gladstone and Laura Gafner of Marquette, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Brittany Deming of Bark River, and Curt Knauf of Gladstone.

The bride-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Bark River-Harris School and a 2013 graduate of Renaissance Academy of Beauty. She works as a cosmetologist at Attitudes Luxury Salon and Spa in Escanaba and coaches cheerleading for Bark River-Harris School.

The groom-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Gladstone High School and a 2014 graduate of Northern Michigan University. He is currently a job planner at Bugle Contracting.

An October wedding is planned.
