GLADSTONE — David and Donna McKnight of Gladstone are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple wed Feb. 22, 1958 at Assembly of God Church followed by a reception at the Methodist Church hall, both located in Bad Axe, Mich.

Original attendants at the ceremony were Florence McKnight, sister of the groom, and Don McKenzie, brother of the bride.

David retired from Lakeside Machine in 1998 and enjoys making hatchets and knives. His wife Donna retired in 2009 from the 4-J’s restaurant, and loves cooking and spending time with the family.

Their children are Steve (Joy) McKnight, Traci (Roy) Challender, and the late Scott McKnight. The couple has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
