HARRIS — American country duo Brothers Osborne will be making their to the Island Resort and Casino on Jan. 12 and 13 at 8 p.m.

The Brothers Osborne consists of TJ Osborne, the band’s primary singer, and his older brother John, the lead guitarist. With hits such as “Stay a Little Longer,” “Rum,” and “It Ain’t My Fault,” the country duo siblings create songs that span from traditional country music to rock and roll. They and have released five singles and one studio album entitled, “Pawn Shop.”

In 2015, Brothers Osborne was named the Country Music Association’s Vocal Duo of the Year. In 2016 the brothers were nominated for multiple awards including a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Stay A Little Longer” and won the Academy of Country Music Awards Vocal Duo of the Year and New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.

Most recently in 2017, the siblings won the Country Music Association Award’s Vocal Duo of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

The Osborne brothers grew up in Deale, Md. and moved to Nashville, Tenn. in the mid-2000s.

The country-loving duo debuted their first single, “Let’s Go There” in late 2013. The single later reached Top 40 on the Country Airplay.

“Rum,” the brothers’ second single, debuted in 2014 and also reached the Top 40. To top off 2016, the band’s third single, “Stay a Little Longer,” was the brother’s first single to reach top 10 status.

The duo’s road band consists of Adam Box on drums, Pete Sternberg on bass guitar, and Jason Graumlich on various instruments.
