Herb and Patricia McNutt

PERKINS — Herb and Patricia (Jecks) McNutt of Perkins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was wed on March 25, 1967 at the Methodist Church in Eaton Rapids, Mich.

Original attendants at the ceremony were maid of honor Sharon Jecks Parrish, sister of the bride and bridesmaid Kathy Jecks Mead, sister-in-law of the bride. Best man was Paul McNutt, brother of the groom; groomsmen Mike Jecks, brother of the bride. Tom Jecks brother of the bride, and Mel McNutt, cousin of the groom served as ushers while Brenda Walker Kessler, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Sam Love, friend of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a reception at Hereford and Hops in CJ’s Bar, hosted by their children.

Herb is a retired Teamster and works part-time for CJ Gas and Weld and Patricia is a billing clerk at Bosk Equipment.

Their children are Kevin and Becky McNutt of Brampton, Tim and Kerry Getzloff, and Jason and Kristee Hart, both of Wilson. They also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
