FAMILY LIFE CENTER

ASSEMBLY OF GOD

NEW LIFE

ESCANABA — Sunday worship services will take place at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., and nursery is available for both services. A variety of children and adult discipleship groups are offered in both small and large group settings with specific needs in mind. “Connections” fellowship will be held immediately after each service.

Men’s Bible study gathers Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Christian men’s fellowship coffee hour follows at 8:15 p.m. at Culver’s.

The ladies luncheon is held on the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stonehouse.

On Wednesday, youth groups, Royal Rangers, girl’s ministries, adult Bible study and life groups will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nursery is available.

Celebrate Recovery is on Thursday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

ESCANABA — Sunday morning prayer starts at 8 a.m., followed by fellowship until 9:30 a.m. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. with two classes for adults, “Fundamentals of the Faith” and “Love or Die.” Younger children meet for “Generations of Grace.” Pre-worship prayer and meditation begins at 10:30 a.m. The worship service follows at 10:45 a.m. Nursery is available.

Kids for Truth Family Ministry meets Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The program is for preschool children up to sixth grade. Transportation is available.

GLADSTONE — Worship services will be held at 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Fellowship time will take place at 10:30 a.m., and Grace Kids will meet at 11 a.m. for children in nursery through fifth grade.

Student ministries for sixth-12th graders will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

ROCK BIBLE CHAPEL

ROCK — Worship service is from 10 a.m. to noon. “Fulfilled in Your Hearing,” is the series that will explore what Jesus did during His time on earth during the weeks leading up to Easter.

Tuesday Women’s Study, “Women of the Bible,” is at 10 a.m.

At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday study, “Stranger on the Road to Emmaus,” which relates the story of the Bible. Kid’s club is held the first and third Wednesdays, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

GLADSTONE — Holy Eucharist will be celebrated beginning at 10 a.m. The Rt. Rev. Rayford Ray, Bishop of Northern Michigan will preside and preach at the service. Coffee hour will follow. ESCANABA  — Sunday school is postponed for this week. Family worship will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the service being held in the church sanctuary. During the service a Baptism, a symbol of God’s grace and forgiveness will take place. There will be special music by Corine Cummings. A luncheon will follow the Baptism.

Bible study is held on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m., studying the Book of II Timothy.

FAITH

ESCANABA — The worship service is at 9:30 a.m., and Sunday school for youth and adults is at 10:45 a.m.  Pick-up of Hope at the Inn supplies is at noon, and this begins the week for the church to host this community rotating homeless shelter. The youth meet at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Central United Methodist Church.

Handbell practice is on Monday at 7:15 p.m., and choir practice is at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The cribbage tournament that was postponed in January is tentatively scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Bring a cribbage board (or other game), a snack, and a good spirit of fun!

MANISTIQUE — Adult Sunday school will be held at 9:45 a.m. Worship will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a coffee hour. Childcare will be available in the fellowship hall during the service.

Worship is at 11 a.m. Dave Grant is currently presenting sermons on the Book of JOB.

The church family invites the public to join us for our weekly family night on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with supper being provided, and then activities beginning at 6 p.m. All ages are welcome.

ESCANABA — A worship service for the Sixth Sunday in ordinary time will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. The service will be led by Pastor Dave Mason and liturgist Joyce Schrock; additionally, Bill Rinne and Music Director D. Anne Wood will give a musical offering.

Childcare with Bible stories will be available from 10 a.m. to noon for children aged infant to preschool.
