NLY swimmers compete in Wausau

WAUSAU, Wis. — The Northern Lights YMCA swimmers participated in the annual Wausau Iceberg Invitational last weekend.

Nate Lanaville, 11, recorded a second place in the 200 freestyle for boys 11-12 and a third place in the 100 IM, fourth in the 500 freestyle and fifth in the 50 freestyle. His time in the 50 free of 28.15 qualified Lanaville for his second trip to the YMCA state meet in Brown Deer, Wis., next month.

Teammate Irene Neumeier, 10, produced two third-place finishes in the girls 9-10 backstroke and 100 freestyle.

Milana Charles, 11, Ava Getzloff, 11, and Colten Getzloff, 11, had significant time drops during the weekend.

NLY travels to Manitowoc, Wis., this weekend for the Manty Invite.
