HARRIS — Superior Central senior pitcher/shortstop Duane Englund was named Player of the Year on the Skyline Central Baseball All-Conference Team.

Englund, who will play next season at Flint’s Mott Community College, heads the honor squad released this week. He was joined on the team by teammate Clayton Smith, a sophomore pitcher.

Representing league champion North Central were senior pitcher Dawson Bilski and senior outfielder Bobby Kleiman.

Earning spots for Bark River-Harris were junior infielder Logan Heim and junior outfielder Kadin Mustafa.

Norway placed five players on the all-conference team — sophomore pitcher Trey Doda, junior outfielder Micah Wilson and senior infielders Kevin Evosevich, Cody Carlson and Dane Vandenheuvel.

Kingsford had three representatives — senior infielder Guy Barrows, senior infielder Joe Murvich and sophomore outfielder Hunter Lindeman.
