Here, in way of explanation are the following terms.
People with discernable intelligence generally agree to the general definition describing these two conditions below.
Readers have the chance to choose the appropriate definition that seems to be the better fit for the pseudo “Finlander“:
an IDIOT is a stupid person with a mental age below three years,
while a MORON is a stupid person with a mental age of between seven to twelve years…
Judging from “Finlanders’” expression, and finger dexterity, unless someone made the keyboard strokes on his behalf, he still has not ’flat-lined’, but is definitely nearly proof-positive, that brain-dead is not far from reality…?
Improving with the Grand Exhalted Obama still in office? This was a spoof poll, right? He promised unemployment would not reach 8% if his stimulus bill passed. Yoopers, your unemployment just went up again. If ObamaCare is not repealed you will not only see it get worse, you will be facing enormous tax increases. So, if you voted for Obama to show you are not racist, please show us in November that you are also not a moron.
This for someof you welfare people you need to get off your dead beat buts and get a dang jobstop being lazyand get a dang job you are using the system and abusing it so the ones who really need it can't get much help thanks for the abuse wow and if you really knowthe system dont abuse it*****grow up and be the person /persons that your mothers and STOP getting into so much trubble the cops up there wont help you,They are to prtect and sereve the good people not the bad, dang ,I think michigan is so dang broke they help from othere states wow ,that is not fair to the other states to suport them,Ok now don't get me wrong but im only tell you the trueth about what i see and know for a fact .
I'll 'defend' the Welfare program, for the sake of an argument. It's not the 'best' system on the planet (Rich Relatives work better) and it really needs an overhaul. Perhaps it will in this next election.. Everyone needs help every now and then, some need it more than others. Those that 'cheat' the system aren't just cheating the generosity of a State and it's Tax paying people, but also those who's lives depend on such a system. Personally, I've never been on 'assistance' of any kind. But thank-goodness there are programs here in this country to help. I don't think 'name calling' and 'threats' gets anywhere in a discussion - Neither does this, "Occupy -whatever" mentality so many people seem to have. I believe, "If a Job is offered to you"..then you should take it. When I was stationed in Germany (for 8 years) - when you walk into an 'employment office' you must also be ready to 'relocate' to another city if there's a job available. How about a sy
finlander - first off, go *** yerself. i don't work at newpage, but i work for a company that profits mainly from newpage as a customer. if they close the doors, it will have a huge impact on escanaba. yes, they do get paid too much & cry all the time, but you can't label them as drunk ********, because it's only 50% true. i had a buddy that was telling me he hopes they go out of business. i kicked him in the teeth for that. you better get a mouth guard buddy.
All this Hate.. calm down everyone. The ones to blame are the ones you elected. They all come out of their jobs in Lansing with 150 times more money than when they came in .. DA !!
... again though.. I don't think the economy is improving at a rate fast enough to keep us out of hot-water.. Right now, decisions are being made and with-held in an attempt to get re-elected. If the Dems come out with a great program, surely a Republican (if they make it to office) will shoot it down. If the idea sounds 'good'.. perhaps a Democrat will pick it up now, before the election and use it to get re-elected.. and visa-versa.. One body tells you how many jobs were created, but they omit how many went bye-bye.. Additionally, people will tell you they 'wanna work'.. but they aren't accepting jobs being offered.. "No way will I clean Horse Stalls!".. That attitude has to change.. I think this new bill is an effort in that direction. If you 'turn down' a job that pays at least 110% of what you get from Welfare, your entitlement takes a hit.. I think that'll get attention.. But not from the Democrats.. they don't like that at all!..
Someone mentioned banging on the "No Child Left Behind". I suppose.. for as many 'programs' that are out there, there are people who will not like, or do like, or take one over the other.. and of course, like me, offer an opinion. However, we must NEVER punish a child for the err of their parents or teacher or society. Kids don't 'ask' to be here, mixed up in this fight for money, pensions, and such.. they just 'come into this world' and we MUST never forget that they deserve as much (or more) than anyone already here has when it comes to education. My goodness! to think otherwise is to condemn an 'innocent' child to a life of.... NOTHING! Thankfully, agencies are set-up to investigate and help correct abuse when it comes to kids.. and I think trying to deprive them of an opportunity to learn to the best of our ability to teach would be 'abusive'..
I haven't met anyone yet,'popping out kids, one after another, just to get more money'. However, I do believe we have generated a means by which people are are 'popping out kids' find it easier to live off the State money than to actually work - I hope this current move to 'reform' builds on that. An 'unemployed' Mom could be pressed into State Employment as a 'Day Care' for other, unemployed persons so they can, say.. "Arrive for Work in the City Clerk's Office, for 3 hours and 'earn' that welfare income. A current bill passed or trying to pass would 'force' an unemployed worker to take a job as long as it payed 110% what they were getting on Unemployment (I applaud that kind of change) But Dems shoot that kind of stuff down, and WANT there to be an 'entitlement' society, totally dependent on the Government..
blaming welfare recipients for the state of the economy is myopic, shortsighted, and certainly comes as a total disappointment for having paid taxes on some to waste time going through the public K-12 school system, and wasting our tax dollars for giving them the opportunity to waste their days in the K-12 school systems.
Certainly, the ‘new school’ philosophy has been a complete failure for some, and for being subject to ‘social promotion’ while instead, they and their parents should have been retained, and retained and re-educated until such time as they could read, write, and do arithmetic at grade level and then move on to the peace corps or the military for a reality check!
Along the way, parenting failed, as has our systems of state, federal and campaign finance and representative government.
The welfare recipient aid pales in comparison to the rip-offs by the two party system of government, financed by the rich and their corporations and the ‘investor’s’ interests above all the rest of working, non-working, legal American citizens.
In just a few short years, the rich and their corporations, have sequestered probably in excess of $80 TRILLION dollars in foreign banks, investment in foreign business, and other tax havens to the detriment of our country.
No.
The blame for the economic downfall, is not with the systems of social safety nets established to protect those who have little or no say in their life, or life style, but blame for the economic collapse should be squarely placed on form of two party system of government that has just recently evolved out of the coffers of the rich, the plutocracy and the oligarchs, never, ever imagined or thought of by the founders of our country.
These people are the root, cause, and result of the collapse of our infrastructures as to falling standard of living, failing healthcare, public education and as well, the collapse of social and other infrastructure networks that continue to fail each day, one by one.
Instead of ‘no child left behind’, we should have instead, leave every child behind, until that child is able to perform at grade level…
And, given continue child failure at that point, bring the parent into the equation for a ‘total educational makeover’, until they are both able to perform at grade level as well.
I applaud the current efforts to try and curb 'welfare abuse' and really hope enough can be done to put more people back to work. That would 'boost' the economy - more cash flowing etc.. and I think that's what his question is asking. Do I think it is, 'improving'? Not at the rate is could be. Old folks are finding themselves 'allowed' to work (thank God Walmart will hire them) to help with their pension checks.. If anyone cared to check, they'll see that pensions aren't covering all of the living expenses and neither is SS.. I fail to see how an 'unemployed' "Bum" is taking money away from someone who 'needs a job' - that idea escapes me entirely. The system is 'handing out money' to BOTH the unemployed and the needy (not all needy folks 'can' work but many want to - some find jobs as 'cart pushers' at Walmart, but thats about the extent of their employability) At any rate, 'every' dime that passes through a persons hands works on the economy in a 'positive' move
You're obviously an uneducated moron. The elderly greeters at Walmart are working for a living so thats NOT draining the economy. It is people like yourself who sit around complaining about what others do that are a drain on society. Please if you have you're high school diploma go to college and learn to spell. The welfare system does need a significant change people shouldnt be rewarded for being inept, a drug user, alcoholic or whatever else the excuse is for not having a job. Instead of being able to buy steak dinners and Little Debbie snacks, they should get a 50lb bag of rice a month and see how fast they get a job to buy the food they actually want to eat. Also for anyone with rent vouchers or those living at low income housing, you should automatically be evicted if you buy things like PS3's and 50 inch big screens. If you can afford those things you can afford to pay rent like the rest of us.
The economy will never improve in a state like Michigan. All they do is send their jobs to China and here in the UP these people here the old geezers won't retire to give the young guys a chance. Come on really walmart greeters? you old ***** should be ashamed of yourself, you guys are collecting a pention and working still, you are taking the food out of a young persons familes mouth. Just because you are bored and need something to do? Go get a hobby and quit sucking the economy, go enjoy life and travel. The old people with a second job is what is sucking the economy, and the fat welfare bums that have been on welfare longer than 5 years. Fat losers in excanaba popping out kid after kid just to collect money. These bums are taking the money from people who actually need to be on welfare. Fat slobs in escanaba smoking their cigarettes and drinking their booze.

There are many things I fail to understand.
But, judging from the lack of response by people of Finnish decent to comments made by the ’writer’ whose pseudonym is “Finlander”,
they are much more stoic than many who roam this patch of thatch.
I’ve known many people of Finnish decent, and none have displayed as much ignorance or lack of bringing-up as this pseudo-Finlander.
The people of Finnish decent no doubt shun this Cro-Magnon as throw-back to pre-vertical positioning times.
