2) there will be no insurance coverage for fire or healthcare coverage for replacement or resuscitation
3) fireworks enthusiasts must purchase a fire policy to pay for the cost of protecting neighboring homes, properties, barns, pole barns, sheds and shanties,
4) their own property will be allowed to burn to the ground, they may not collect rebuilding money, or healthcare costs.
They should not lift the ban.Too many children get hurt and burned by them and others do not respect what damage they do.Besides there all probably made in China.
Umm...rednick, I don't know what state you're referring to, but it isn't Michigan. I can find no record of any additional taxes on R rated movies, books, ect. in Michigan. There's the alcochol tax, and the cigarette tax, but you don't mention those at all. Additionally, something that is an outright ban isn't a "sin tax", it's a ban.
No.. why give the nuts who use these things 'improperly' a legal reason to have them in their possession.. We live around too many trees and homes to be 'allowing' the use of fire creating devices that fly through the air, or are tossed out of moving cars. As always, the 'sane' must pay for the 'insane' and their lack of reason.

There should be absolutely no reason people should be limited in their purchase of any type of ‘fireworks’ they can or cannot afford…
Subject to the following stipulations:
1) all fireworks must be set-off on their property only, and contained on the property inside:
Barns,
pole barns,
Homes,
Sheds
Shanties or
Lean-to’s
