B.J. Sebeck, you still living at home with your mom and dad? Never been out in the real world still. How are you and your boyfriend? Keep voting for Obama, while the rest of in the real world go to work everday, go to Iraq and back, know what we were talking about when we say Obame should never have a second term.

Excuse me but Bush had two wars going on also and his deficit never exceeded 600billion. Obama's deficits have never been less than less than 900billion and 2 of the three have been well over 1trillion dollars. How is borrowing that kind of money supposed to get us out of debt?

puckrock, you're again presenting information that is not relevant. Food assistance programs are administered by the states. States make changes in these programs continually. We don't know what changes were made to these programs over the past two years. There is no way to directly tie anything that President Obama has done to that number.

No, Obahma shouldn't get another term. He has absolutely NO clue how to improve the economy. All these QE programs have failed miserably and yet there's talk of another. Really? He argues not to raise taxes in a recession yet he argues that the Bush tax cuts need to go. Really, which one is it? Obahma care, sorry folks, isn't going to make health care cheaper, just harder to get. That's IF the mandate is even constitutional, which it isn't. Lastly, as one mentioned the first two years where full democrat control of government, the best chance any party has to pass any legislation and he still couldn't improve the economy.

It is very interesting to see that no blame for Bush's term falls on his democrat led congress... it was all Bush's fault... then somebody says it is Obama's fault and so many jump up to blame it on congress... which was still democrat led in both houses until January and is now split... which way is it?

puckrock, you're presenting this number as though President Obama is solely responsible for it. Many of those costs are due to expenditures approved by President Bush. In fact, many of those expenditures were also approved as far back as President Clinton. There are two wars going on which contribute heavily to that number which would be there no matter who was in office.

If you're looking at economics, the question that needs to be asked is this: "Would we better off today if John McCain had been elected?" The problem with that is that the answer is purely conjecture since we have no data to support any claim that is made. The same holds true for the "Will we be better off if President Obama is not reelected?"

Obama is far from perfect. But given the insane choices on the other side of the election (so far), I think that his successes and potential (which he has not completely lived up to) far outweigh the potential insanity of Perry, Bachman or Palin. Romney is the wall street candidate so I refuse to vote for someone who will further the corporate grip on this country. I would consider Ron Paul, but it seems that he is not religious enough for the GOP base. Obama has had some success, especially in light of any cooperation from the GOP. He is the best of the choices. Too bad politics in this country has become what it is. The people who could really help this country would be fools to ever get caught up in electoral politics with its mindless slogans, "pledges" and ideas that are rarely rooted in reality. I dont know if "deserve" is the right word, but under the circumstances, he is the best choice.

No wonder President Obama has given us mediocre commitment and leadership, most of these posts give every excuse of why he will never succeed or be the leader of the free world. The day that he raised his right hand and agreed to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States is the day that he took responsibility for every issue that ails our country. Bush, Bush, Bush... its amazing how many people have elevated Bush to status of Demi-God. He has been out of office for three years and yet you give him credit for controlling what is happening today in this country. WHAT A POWERFUL MAN BUSH MUST BE! Fact: when Bush left office unemployment was 4.7%, today it is 9.2%. President Obama is the most powerful man in the world. He has the ability to employee every living soul from the Redwood Forest to Key West, Florida. The way to achieve this feat is to limit the scope and size of Government and let ma and pa small business owner introduce their idea to the consumer market that we

Obama has done wonders for this country. Soon we will be a fully socialistic society, well on our way to being communist. Before very long "everybody" will be on the dole and nobody working. It is his plan..... it has to be.... cuz nobody can be THAT stupid.

wake up, think for yourself,Obama has done more to help this country in one day than bush did in 8 long years of hell.. l feel it would take 20 years to repair the damage bush did.but with the children in congress and fools around this country, it may never get better.it takes more than three years to polish the turd that bush left us....

Yes. This nation is and was in a mess and it will take time and commitment to get it together. Obama is a good and intelligent president. The CONGRESS has to stop putting up roadblocks to improvements.
