BARK RIVER - Northwoods Baptist Church was the sponsor of the recently held Good 'ole Fashioned Tent Meeting held at the Bark River Township Park.
Dale Aguiar was the traveling preacher who not only helps small and struggling churches, but is available for missions conferences, camp meetings, repair and renovations of churches and revivals. From Green Cove Springs, Fla., he and his family offer soul searching preaching and inspiring singing plus music on CD while traveling the country in a huge motor home/bus with trailer.
Totally serving the Lord with their lives, the Agulars have set up this tent 140 times in the last 10 years.
Pastor Dale Agular of Green Cove Springs, Fla., was the traveling preacher at a recent tent meeting hosted by the Northwoods Baptist Church.
The Northwoods Crusaders provided special music for the tent revival hosted by the Northwoods Baptist Church. The men are: from left, Dan Hartman, Pastor Matt Siegwart, Ed Linden, Mitchell Barron, and Bob Miller.
Emily Siegwart, 5, above left, enjoys a meal in between meetings while her brother, Matt, 7, above right, takes a trip down a slide.
There were from 50 to almost 100 at each of the meetings to receive the Christ-centered messages that were preached. Pastor Matt Siegwart and two other young and up-coming preachers, Mitchell and Tucker Barron, were also under the tent with sermons. Baptisms were performed and conversions reported.
Visitors enjoyed singing from the Northwoods church and food was provided by the church members.
A tent meeting is scheduled for Aug. 7, 2015. For more information about the tent meeting or Northwoods Baptist Church, contact Pastor Matt at 786-7027.
