ESCANABA - A total of 11 athletic courts in the City of Escanaba recently received a facelift. The resurface project included 10 tennis courts and one basketball court. At top, Eddie Gutierrez, of Tennis Courts Unlimited of Watervliet, Mich., works to remove paint and old surface from the tennis courts in Ludington Park during the preliminary stages of the project last week. Above left, Cesar Barboza, of Tennis Courts Unlimited, uses a pressure washer to remove debris from the Ludington Park tennis courts. Above right, a portion of the completed courts is shown.
